Hyderabad: In a significant blow to the ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh, Srungavarapukota (S Kota) MLC Indukuri Raghuraju's wife, Indukuri Sudha Rani, along with 150 key leaders, has joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). The move, announced today in Undavalli in the presence of TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh, marks a substantial shift in the political landscape of the region.

The procession of 150 party leaders, including 15 sarpanches, 17 MPTCs, and five conveners, made a grand entrance at Chandrababu's residence, where they were warmly welcomed by Nara Lokesh. Addressing the gathering, Lokesh reaffirmed TDP's commitment to the development of Andhra Pradesh and opened the doors wider for those dedicated to the state's progress.

Among the prominent figures who joined the TDP alongside Sudha Rani are S Kota MPP Sandhi Someswara Rao, MPTCs Lagudu Lakshmi, Mopada Gauriswari, Dara Giri, Mazji Devi, Wakada Simhachalam, Mopada Sunitha, and B. Adilakshmi. The event also saw the presence of Bhojanki Venkatalakshmi, Mandal Co-option Member Sheikh Bashir, Sarpanch Solubongu Kanakam, Ramakrishna, Santoshi Kumari, Vobbina Trinathamma, Lagudu Suryanarayana, and Erra Sanyasirao, among others.

Expressing disappointment in the current administration, Lokesh highlighted the necessity for a change in leadership, citing the broken promises and unfulfilled aspirations under Jagan's rule. He emphasized TDP's commitment to restoring the strength of local governance and ensuring the welfare of grassroots leaders.

In a scathing critique, Sudha Rani accused MLA Kadubandi Srinivasa Rao, known as Kadubandi, of transforming Srungavarapukota into a "hub of corruption and malpractice." She expressed unwavering faith in the visionary leadership of TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and pledged her dedication to the party's mission.

The joining event concluded with assurances from Lokesh to uplift local economies through industrial growth, particularly in Uttar Andhra, promising employment opportunities for the region's youth. He reiterated TDP's support for those aligned with their vision for a prosperous Andhra Pradesh.
